Metal pads rock!
I got one for $130 on ebay but the shipping was $80, so it evens out to $210, but it was worth it.
The metal pad is the closest thing to the perfect pad you can ever find, the olny tiny error was the bar.
It was a little wobbly, but it isn't that big of a problem. You could get a good deal for one at www.ebay.com or if you want to get it from somewhere else try www.lik-sang.com. I suggest ebay.
